Gul 3 - Singlar 2005 - WNUR review

Johan Arrias (as, percussion), Leo Svensson (ce, percussion), Henrik Olsson (d, misc) Majestically slow and hushed free improv from three innovative Scandinavian musicians. Arrias’ tone immediately calls Lee Konitz to mind though with a freer bent. The soundscapes created by this trio verge on the otherworldly without resorting screeching dissonance. Beautiful, sometimes minimalist music that everyone should check out.
